Design an informational brochure using a word processing, publishing, slide presentation, or other software, saving your work in either a .pdf or MS Office program format. You may choose a tri-fold or bi-fold design. Use professional language and proofread your work for proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation. Include in your brochure:

• One graphic or photo per panel/page
• Name and contact information for your actual or fictional organization
• Description of both the T & U visas and who may qualify
• Mention of what services may also be available to victims of crimes and/or human trafficking through your organization, what languages spoken, and assurance of confidentiality
• Whom to contact within the organization for further information and a free initial consultation regarding potential immigration benefits
• Documents that might be helpful and possibly in the victim's possession

What is a T Visa?

The T Visa is a nonimmigrant visa for victims of human trafficking. It allows victims to remain in the United States if they agree to help law enforcement authorities in the investigation or prosecution of human trafficking cases.

Who May Qualify?

• Victims of severe forms of human trafficking
• Individuals who are physically present in the United States as a result of trafficking
• Those who would face extreme hardship if removed from the country

What is a U Visa?

The U Visa is for victims of certain crimes who have suffered mental or physical abuse and are helpful to law enforcement or government officials in the investigation or prosecution of criminal activity.

Who May Qualify?

• Victims of qualifying criminal activity
• Individuals who have suffered substantial physical or mental abuse
• Those who have information about the crime and are willing to assist law enforcement
