What is a T Visa?
The T Visa is a nonimmigrant visa for victims of human trafficking. It allows victims to remain in the United States if they agree to help law enforcement authorities in the investigation or prosecution of human trafficking cases.
Who May Qualify?
- Victims of severe forms of human trafficking
- Individuals who are physically present in the United States as a result of trafficking
- Those who would face extreme hardship if removed from the country

The U Visa is for victims of certain crimes who have suffered mental or physical abuse and are helpful to law enforcement or government officials in the investigation or prosecution of criminal activity.
Who May Qualify?
- Victims of qualifying criminal activity

- Those who have information about the crime and are willing to assist law enforcement
