Design reviews have identied concerns about the aircraft's survivability close to the stall region. As such, you have been asked to perform an analysis of the horizontal stabiliser, in terms of its aeroelastic properties, at the aircraft's stall speed during an accelerated climb for positive load factors up to +3.5. One of the members of the review panel is also concerned about potential buffeting on the stabiliser and requests you address this in your report, especially with regard to how this can be examined by an analytical study, an experimental measurement, or a combination of both. You are required to prepare a concise, but detailed report of your analysis and your ndings for the design review panel. For aii intents and purposes, you are recommended to approximate the stabiiiser (and main wing if necessary) as uniform, straight-tapered, unswept wings. Appendix A contains further useful design data and Appendix B contains useful equations modelling the downwash on the stabiliser, both of which will help you complete your report. Appendix C provides some useful comments and suggestions for how you should go about writing your report
