Detecting fraudulent payments to suppliers.

We have several standard rules of thumb for identifying "suspect" suppliers that warrant more in-depth investigation:

(a) The supplier's physical address is a PO Box.

(b) The area code for the supplier's primary phone number does not match the supplier's physical address.

(c) The supplier's billing address is in a foreign country that does not have an extradition treaty with the US.

(d) The supplier has the same tax identification number (TIN) as one of our previous (and currently inactive) suppliers.

(e) The supplier has a history of submitting duplicate invoices for the same purchase order.

(f) The supplier has a history of not delivering the goods that were ordered.

Our company's enterprise system follows AICPA's Audit Data Standards (ADS). Use the ADS Procure-to-Pay Ledger standard (pdf)Links to an external site.. Figure 2 in this pdf provides an overview of all the relevant tables in this ledger.

To implement each rule above, which data fields in which table(s) from the Procure-to-Pay Ledger should we use? Please be specific, i.e., provide the precise table name and field name for every relevant data item for each rule. Your answer should look approximately like this: Rule (a): supplier's physical address = Field_name in Table_name Only focus on the items that are available in the Procure-to-Pay ledger. Do not worry about additional data items from external sources (e.g., the list of countries that do not have an extradition treaty with the US, or a table linking phone area codes to physical locations).
