Detectives received a report from officers in the field with sufficient facts and circumstances rising to the level of probable cause that the defendant was selling drugs out of her apartment. Detectives went to the defendant's apartment and asked if they could come in and talk. The officers told the defendant that they could always get a search warrant if she did not allow them to enter. She then agreed, and the detectives entered the apartment. While the defendant sat in her living room adjacent to the front door and talked with one of the detectives, the other looked through closets in the living room and adjoining hall and found a large quantity of drugs.
