Determining Optimal Production Quantities Top of the Hill Brewery produces two products - Ale and Stout. There are two raw materials - Hops and Malt that are used to brew these items. The maximal availability of Hops is 8 tons per week, and the maximal availability of Malt is 6 tons per week. To brew a ton of Ale, 2 tons of Hops and 1 ton of Malt are needed. To brew a ton of Stout, 1 ton of Hops and 2 tons of Malt are needed. Top of the Hill has historically been able to sell all Stout produced, but found that it can sell at most 2 tons of Ale per week. The profit margin is $3,000 per ton of Stout and $2,000 per ton of Ale Develop an Excel model and use Solver to determine Top of the Hill's optimal production schedule
