Develop a project charter for the expert project.
Complete the following sections in the risk register, using the tools within the expert risk register and the information you have gathered from the project charter and your readings:
Risk identification:
Identification number.
Risk category.
Risk description.
Risk originator. Did this risk originate with a person, place, or thing?
Quantitative risk analysis: Use the probability and impact scale provided to quantitatively determine the probability and impact of each of the identified threats and opportunities:
Probability.
Impact. Note: P x I = impact score. The higher the score, generally the higher the risk.
Risk score: Calculate the risk score for each identified risk.
Move into risk response planning? As the PM, you determine the threshold for risk management. Be certain that the risk threshold is neither too high or too low. You will be presenting this risk matrix to key stakeholders and generally will get a lot of questions.
