Develop a sustainability policy for one of the areas you identified in q 1 (REDUCE WASTE WATER IN THE RESTAURANT). Within this policy, you should include:

1.0 Purpose: This should be a short statement in the active voice, outlining the purpose of the document, for example, what the document does

1.1: The actions to be taken to achieve the purpose: How will the purpose be achieved.

2.0 Scope: The scope is the audience to who the document applies, and/or, the types of

services, operations, assets, or documents to which the document applies. The scope should

not duplicate the purpose

3.0 Policy statement: This is the core section of the document that outlines the key policy

principles. Statements should be short, concise and unambiguous

4.0 Implementation; including who will be responsible, how it will be measured, any deadlines

and how it will be communicated

5.0 How it will be monitored: What KPI's will be used to measure its performance over a 6-

month period

6.0 Any costs and timeframes.
