Development of the Strong Interest Inventory $($SII$)$ utilized two different approaches: The test's General Occupational Theme and Basic Interest scales were derived on the basis of the $\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_$ method, while development on the Occupational scales was based on $\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_$ keying strategy.
