1) Explain briefly how federal and state/ territory legislation work together to provide rehabilitation and return to work programs.

2) Project - Demonstrate your ability to coordinate rehabilitation or return to work programs by providing a portfolio of evidence of your activities including a diary, log book or video evidence, or documented statements from your line manager or colleagues.

Submit your portfolio to show that you have coordinated and processed both sick leave and compensation claims according to legislative and organisational policies and procedures, and that you have notified the rehabilitation provider and the claimant, and identified the possible period of absence and alerted the appropriate person to make arrangements to cover the work team activities. Submit a report you have prepared on the nature of claims as required by your organisation over a suitable time period.

Include your checks or suggestions to encourage consultation between the appropriate stakeholders and your contribution to job redesign or other strategies for the return to work program, including your risk analysis. Show how you have coordinated the program with the employee and coordinated regular support with the supervising manager and provider, including meeting dates and attendances. 

Explain how you would notify a breach correctly and modify the program if necessary. Finally submit your evaluation of the process with any suggestions for improvements.
