How many trays of each should the baker make in order to maximize profits? Use: X = number of corn muffins trays Y=number of pumpkin muffin trays 2-Lisa has an online jewelry shop where she sells earrings and necklaces. She sells carrings for $30 and necklaces for $40. It takes 30 minutes to make a pair of earrings and 1 hour to make a necklace, and, since Lisa is a math tutor, she only has 10 hours a week to make jewelry. In addition, she only has enough materials to make 15 total jewelry items per week. She makes a profit of $15 on each pair of earrings and $20 on each necklace. How many pairs of earrings and necklaces should Lisa make each week in order to maximize her profit, assuming she sells all her jewelry? Use: X = number of earrings Y=number of necklaces 3- A furniture company produces inexpensive tables and chairs. The production process for each is similar in that both require a certain number of hours of carpentry work and a certain number of labour hours in the painting department. Each table takes 4 hours of carpentry and 2 hours in the painting|| department. Each chair requires 3 hours of carpentry and 1 hour in the painting department. During the current production period, 240 hours of carpentry time are available and 100 hours in painting is available. Each table sold yields a profit of $7; each chair produced is sold for a $5 profit. Find the best combination of tables and chairs to manufacture in order to reach the maximum profit.
