Directions: Choose any movie/TV Show/video-game that you have a multitude of opinions on - good, bad, or in between - and present a persuasive, thorough review of that media that explains why you feel the way you do. You will want to address multiple aspects of the media in your review. 0 For movies/TV: writing, acting, directing, music, style, special-effects, etc. o For games: Story, Gameplay, Graphics, Online Components, Technical Performance, Microtransactions, DLC, etc. Make sure to include relevant information on who created the media (Writer, Director, Studio, the year it was released, etc.). Is it based on any other materials? Are there any interesting stories about how it was made, or what other people thought of it, that can inform your review? 0 Comparisons can make for great reference points: Are there other movies that you would compare this film to, either positively or negatively? Your presentation should include well-incorporated visual aids that enhance your speech: Clips, stills, promotional images/posters, your own funny costumes or skits. The sky's the limit here! Make sure the focus is on your animated tone. Your review needs to contain some kind of scoring system - 5 stars, a letter grade, a scale of 1-10 that lets your audience know how to judge your overall opinion of the media. You want to include an anecdote that explains your personal experiences with the media. Why did you choose it? Do you have an interesting first experience with it? Has it formed any interesting stories in your personal life since then? There are too many sample critics on YouTube to count, but these are some good places to start if you like examples.
