Construct a circuit for a half subtractor using AND gates, OR gates, and inverters. A half subtractor has two bits, x and y, as input and produces as output a difference bit, d, and a borrow, b.

Hint: First construct a table for d and b for the 4 possible combinations of x and y. Then derive the Boolean functions for d and b.
