1. Discuss  a real-life incident that happened to you or an experience you had that prompts you to write an argumentative response, think of a time when you had a problem, issue, or argument at school, work, or family where it would have been appropriate for you to use good writing and argumentative choices to communicate your position for a clear end goal.
2. Discuss a real-life argumentative response to a specific person in the scenario you selected. The response can be in the form of a letter, email, social media post, or something else.

•  How would you  support your credibility (ethos appeal)
•  Explain how  all relevant and helpful evidence, data, or proof (logos appeal)
• Describe the effectively pull at the emotions of the reader (pathos appeal)

3. In your response, state what it is you want as a result of your written communication (the end goal of your writing). Make your ask very clear. How will you determine the "success" of your use of rhetorical strategies? Once you are finished with this email/post/letter, it should be ready to send to whomever you addressed (if that is what you wanted to do).
