How can you use technology to become a virtual leader?

Communication plays a major role in becoming a virtual leader.I know where I work. If the management cannot come to our location, we use video conferencing so that we all log in from the house or at work and attend meetings.Technology has made it possible that if we do this device management does not pay us since we are at home.We just need to print the certificate and bring it to work.

What personal challenges will you need to overcome to become a virtual leader?

I would say work life balance is a factor because you will have to balance work and home life.It would bethe right idea to do all the work that you can at work and then whatever you do not finish at work just leave it there but go home to your family.It is not good to bring work home with you.You would need to balance it out. Alsohaving trusting relationships with your workers.Although you might not see them in the meeting, and you are on the screen you cannot connect with them because you are in one place, they are at another location. There is an answer to this factor, you can plan to schedule videos maybe one on one and that way you can engage in communication with them.

If you are already a virtual leader, what challenges are you preparing for in the future based on technological advancements?

Well, there is data privacy, you must create a guideline on who can see what and there you might have information so that others cannot see.There are laws which protect the privacy of the employees so that none of their information is taken from the database.
