Discuss the form of breach of contract that occurs in each of the case studies listed below:

(a) Gugu and Elias enter a contract whereby Elias will retile Gugu's bathroom. They agree that Elias will start the job on the 15th of May 2021. On the morning of the 15th Elias arrived at Gugu's house to only find that Gugu went on vacation and that nobody was home to open for Elias. Elias did confirm with Gugu a week before the 15th and Gugu confirmed that everything was in order. (13)

(b) Frederika enters into an agreement with Magic Pools to build an oval shape swimming pool on her property. The parties further agree that the pool will be completed within a period of 5 weeks. Magic Pools do complete the pool within 5 weeks, but the shape of the pool is square and not oval as agreed. (7)
