Discuss the importance of post implementation metrics. During the contract negotiations and in the Strategic Planning document there were business objectives stated such as to reduce errors, reduce cost, improve response time, increase productivity, etc. Along with the stated objectives hopefully the pre implementation metrics were captured and projected improvements were stated.

Immediately post implementation the metrics should be recorded and tracked at an agreed upon interval $($example days, weeks, months$)$ and then reviewed again at an agreed upon time such as $3$ months, $6$ months, $1-$year to determine if the business and project objectives, metrics and improvements were met.
