Now, think about your own personal and/or business experiences.
There may have been times when you, or someone you know, may have acted as an agent or been appointed as an agent.Think about the agency experiences we have in our everyday life, then answer these questionsusing what you have learned from your textbook and the Modules.
1. Have you or someone you know been appointed as an agent for another? This could be a business situation or a personal situation. If you don't have a personal example, find an example that is in the news. Describe the situation in detail. (For example, a situation might involve a real estate transaction, issues involving an elder, litigation involving a minor, union representation, etc. )Do not use an independent contractor as an example of an agency.
2. What kind of agency was created?(Hint: You will need to reference information Chapter 14 in your textbook.)
3. Were there any problems or issues that occurred with the agency?Did the agent did a good job? Did the agent exceed his or her duties? Why or why not? Cite evidence to support your contention.
