Discussion: How People Who Use Drugs Should be Treated

This week, I am providing an article on drug policy that will probably "step on virtually everyone's toes" in some way! Although published a few years ago, it still seems to be very timely with what is still happening today in the substance use world. Tony Newman, at the time, director of media relations at the Drug Policy Alliance, wrote an interesting piece entitled, "We All Use Drugs, So Treat Drug Users as You Would Want to Be Treated" (Newman, 2018).
