1. Look up a current criminal trial. It can be from your local media, or it can be a national news story.

2. Tell me about the case- what is it about? What are the main points? How is the media portraying it?

3. Bring it up in conversation with your family, friends, roommate/spouse etc. during your break. Was it awkward to talk about criminal justice? Or maybe this has become part of your everyday life? Or was it received and sparked more conversation?
