Discussion Prompt Dating in Today's Society: Share your take on the current dating market. Whether you are single, married, dating, or otherwise; discuss your perspective on traditional (face-to-face) mate selection and online dating. Do you feel that online dating (or at least online selection) is a help or hindrance to mate selection? Why or why not? What about catfishing? Do you feel we should return to (or keep) our emphasis on more organic face-to-face mate selection (i.e., meeting that special person in a grocery store, sparking up conversation, exchanging phone numbers)? Where does the single 20-something to go meet people? How did you meet your last partner? What are the best selection strategies for long-term relationship satisfaction?
