Identify someone you think is an effective leader. What makes him or her effective? 4. Do you think most managers can be transformational leaders? Why or why not? 5. In your own words, define courage. What is the role of courage in leadership? Give examples of acts of leader- ship you consider courageous. 6. Do you think men and women differ in their leadership styles? If so, how? Do men and/or women prefer differ- ent styles in their bosses? What evidence do you have for your answers? 7.
