Lone wolf terrorist has the same behavioral and psychological factors that radicalize others to join a group but for them they are not associated with a terrorist group. They go through a personal hardship and combine it with a social or political hardship which will give them purpose to radicalize. Their ideologies may line up with a terrorist group and this will help them justify there reasoning for causing harm or even violent attacks that cause death. They follow their own beliefs which often times isolates them from others who could potentially bring them back to reality. There was a study that say 43% of the lone wolf terrorist have a history of mental illness such as psychological malady schizophrenia, narcissistic personality disorder, and psychotic disorders (Crimando, 2021). Lone wolf terrorist is more focused on domestic inspirations as these are he situations that involve them in society and political. The issues around them get them involved and when they see it as a problem they want to fix it by any means.
