Discussion Thread: Managing Barriers and Fostering Mentorship

Explore barriers to making a change within an organization at the micro and macro levels.

1. Discuss some of the barriers that would need to consider when desiring to make a change in practice.
2. Discuss how to manage the issues identified at the micro and macro levels within the organization.
3. Discuss the areas in which needs to be mentored as to engage in an evidence-based practice project. What needs would anticipate as they pertain to the development of an evidence-based practice project? Refer to Appendix I in the text (Mentor Role description).
4. Support assertions with at least two scholarly citations within 3-5 years acceptable sources include peer reviewed journals, the textbook, and the Bible, etc.
