One of the provisions of the Beck decision hinges on unions notifying employees of the percentage of dues used for activities such as lobbying politicians. However, businesses do not have to identify their financial support for political lobbying. In addition, right-to-work laws provide employees the ability to work for a union organized business without having to join or pay union dues, while benefiting from union "bargaining." After reading this module's material, do you support or not support the Beck decision and right-to-work laws? Why or why not?
