Discussion Topic#4 11 A sweatshop is commonly defined as "a factory or workshop, especially in (the clothing industry, auto manufacturing, phone parts, construction sites, etc.) located in underdeveloped and developing countries, where manual workers are employed at very low wages for long hours and under poor conditions" (Ref: WIKIPEDIA). Many multinational corporations (MNCs) have such sweatshops in countries like Bangladesh, Myanmar (formerly known as Burma), India, Pakistan, China, Brazil, etc. for a variety of reasons, including, cutting labor/supply chain/raw material costs, etc. On the other hand, there are many social organizations and governments who have criticized MNCs for using sweatshops as part of their manufacturing and supply chain strategy. Please articulate your opinion on the above issue, both from positive and negative perspectives. Use appropriate subhehadings to orhanize your posting
