Back in chapter 4, we talked about Ethernet technology, which uses a variable sized frame. Fixed Cells, like ATM Variable frames, like Ethernet On a typical freeway, cars and semi-trucks share the road. Some people leave lots of space between vehicles, and some leave very little space.
