Distributive justice is related to the fair allocation of resources among diverse members of a community. Moreover, one of the simplest principles of distributive justice is that of strict, or radical, equality where every person should have the same level of material goods (including burdens) and services.

2b. When looking at distributive justice as a guiding theory, discuss how the idea that some people "deserve" certain economic benefits above others plays a role in crafting public policy. In other words, considering that everyone should have the same levels of material goods, how would you justify from a policy perspective that some people should receive additional or less assistance?
