In this assignment, you will review and research the best ethical and inclusive communication skills, the communication life cycle, and the business communication strategy framework. Then, you will share two strategies in a word blog post with accompanying headings and graphics. Your professional network, colleagues, and team members are your intended audience.
Step 1 Review the module readings and presentations and conduct research to learn more about the communication life cycle and diverse, ethical, and inclusive business communication approaches and strategies.
Step 2 Select two communication strategies to recommend as best practices for diverse, ethical, and inclusive communication in the business communication life cycle. Research and outline characteristics and examples of these strategies.
Step 3 Choose a platform in which to design your professional blog, such as LinkedIn. You may choose any platform as long as it allows you to share the post using a link.
Step 4 Compose your 500- to 750-word blog. The blog must contain:
- an introduction to the business communication life cycle and strategy framework and general issues surrounding diverse ethical and inclusive communication needs,
- body paragraphs containing your work from Steps 1-2,
- a conclusion offering the two best practice recommendations, and
- references.
Other guidelines:
- Use headers, white space, and graphics to break up and organize your text.
- Apply professional communication skills in your tone and style of writing.
- Consider writing directly to your audience instead of simply writing about the topic.
- Provide non-examples and examples in your explanations.
- Include APA-formatted citations in the body of your blog and a reference list at the end of your blog. The reference list should not be included in the word count.
Step 5 Submit the URL to your 500- to 750-word blog. Ensure the URL provides access to your blog post without restriction.
