"Dizzy Izzy is a discount appliance store specializing in home entertainment equipment. The company carries two brands of satellite antenna systems: Panasonic and ChannelMaster. Due to the high cost and rapid technological changes in ordering these systems, Dizzy Izzy's policy is not to reorder additional systems until both brands are completely sold out.
Currently, the store has six Panasonic and four ChannelMaster systems in stock. Forty percent of customers want to buy a Panasonic system, 50% want to buy a brand that Dizzy Izzy doesn't carry, so they leave without making a purchase.
The daily customer arrival probabilities for purchasing a satellite system are:
P(0 arrivals)=0.30
P(1 arrival)=0.35
P(2 arrivals)=0.20
P(3 arrivals)=0.15
If a customer wants to buy a Panasonic system but Dizzy Izzy is out of stock, there is a 25% chance they will buy a ChannelMaster system, a 35% chance they will place an order for Panasonic, and a 40% chance the sale will be lost.
If a customer wants to buy a ChannelMaster system but Dizzy Izzy is out of stock, there is a 45% chance they will buy a Panasonic system, a 40% chance they will place an order for ten systems, and a 15% chance the sale will be lost.
Using simulation, determine how many days it will take for Dizzy Izzy to completely sell out its current inventory of satellite antenna systems. Also, identify the number of systems reordered and the number of lost sales as of that date."
