Do a multiple regression example and Just make sure to pick something where you have access to the data or are willing to collect data (topics like sports, weather, stock market are easy to get data).

  1. What question are you trying to answer?
  2. What would make good predictors (x values)?
  3. Collect data on an excel file.
  4. Do the overall hypothesis test and then test each individual slope. Note: even if you end up with an overall test showing all are bad predictors still go on to test each one individually
  5. Drop the x's that weren't good predictors then write out the final equation you end up with.
  6. Plug in some x values not in your data set to show what the predicted y value would be. Please help
