The pandemic allowed many workers to realize they needed more powers balance between them and their employers. The importance of unions today is verified even if it acceptance due to its negative points makes it not unanimous. The approval of labor union grew since workers have realized how unsecure their job is with them losing their job during the pandemic and some were unable to be safe during the social distancing requirement. Most of the reasons workers left their job during the great resignation for reasons that labor unions are to defend. among these reasons we have safety and security, toxic leadership, low wages, and etc. Unions will be more important with the telework becoming more and more common and individualizing workers and the standards will still be needed to be set and benefits will still be negotiated, and having a voice will be important for workers.
