Does Everyone Remember Sevvy? I hope so. With regard to his transaction with Manny, Sevvy wanted to disaffirm the contract for the sale of the textbook. In our hypothetical he told Manny the check from the day before was not good. Then Sevvy walked away with the book calling Manny a sucker. What must happen in order for Sevvy to properly disaffirm this contract?

a.

Manny had to return the check to Sevvy, and Sevvy had to return the book to Manny.

b.

The contract was properly disaffirmed in the discussion hypothetical as it was written.

c.

Manny would have to give the check back to Sevvy, Sevvy would have to give the book back to Manny, and they would have to write one more document indicating that the last contract was now void.

d.

Because Manny is a minor, his parents would have to come to Gateway with him and sign documents to disaffirm the contract. They would then have to give the book back to Manny.
