Does right-or-left-handedness affect how fast people type? To decide on this, random samples of students from a typing class are given a typing speed test for one minute, and the results are compared. While the sample mean of words typed by 16 right-handed students is 55.8, the 9 left-handed students typed an average of 59.3 words. The sample standard deviation of the right-handed and left-handed typing observations are 5.7 and 5.5 respectively. Perform an hypothesis test to see whether right-or-left-handedness has any effect on typing speed.
