The following is the budget Narrative Estimate Revenues There is over $2.5 million in federal funding for El Paso projects to support police accountability and improve crisis intervention. Specifically, the Committee approved $2,015,185 to fund the El Paso County Crisis Intervention Team. The El Paso County Crisis Intervention Team will provide safer and more effective responses to dynamic law enforcement incidents involving persons in suspected mental health crisis and situations involving persons with a diagnosed or suspected mental illness and/or intellectual disabilities. The new team would consist of the El Paso County Sheriff's Office (SO) and Emergence Health Network (EHN). We want to request the amount of 170,354 to continue the program for another 6- month period.
