Dorothy Day is an American social activist who has been considered for sainthood.  She once said:

 

When I worked with the poor,
they called me a saint.

When I asked whyare there poor,
they called me a communist.

 

Dorothy experienced one of the more frequentlyused sins againstreason/Critical Thinking. When the answer may harm your position, divert attention by attacking the person who is questioning your position.
