Joshi has been dishonoured and was passed to the debit of Allowances Account. (8) Goods amounting to 1,000 had been returned by a customer and were taken into stock, but no entry in respect thereof was made in the books. (h) 65.000 paid for the purchase of a motor cycle for Mr. Dutt (a partner) had been charged to Miscellaneous Expenses Account (1) A sale of 2,000 to Singhi & Co. was credited to their account. (1) A sale of 1,000 has been passed through the Purchases Day Book. The customer's account has, however, been correctly debited. (k) While carrying forward the total of the Sales Book from one page to the next, the amount was written as 1,76,658 instead of 1,67,568
