Dr. Fopa recently made the following statement at a seminar:

"My research has found a strong positive correlation (r = 0.88) between a person's blood alcohol content (BAC) and the type of alcoholic drink they recently consumed."

Explain, statistically, why this claim -- as stated -- makes no sense.

After commenting on the error in Dr. Fopa's statement, think about how the statement could be modified (in a small but important way !) to become a sensible statement. What might the good doctor have really meant to say ?
