Dragons Den (Sharks Tank) presentation: DRAGONS DEN This assignment is based upon the popular Canadian series Dragons Den (or USA series Sharks Tank), where entrepreneurs present their products to a panel of dragons or sharks or corporate experts, in hopes that their ideas will be bought by a prominent company. This task is intended to provide students with an opportunity to sell an original product of their own design to a potential buyer. There are three (3) components (Product Creation, Sales Proposal, and Pitch Presentation) to this project that require a culmination of skills that have been covered throughout the Marketing course. It is expected that a minimum of three (3) references to course material (slides) are made in this project, in addition to research from outside sources. Course outcomes met by this assignment: Explain patterns in buyer behavior to effectively strategize sales. Demonstrate effective written and spoken communication skills. Use product-selling strategies that add value. Use adaptive selling techniques to construct an effective sales environment. Use questioning strategies to determine customer needs.
