Dram Shop laws hold those who sell or serve alcohol liable for damages caused by the intoxicated person to a third party.

(1) Should the server of alcohol (bartender/waitress/waiter) be held civilly liable if they serve an intoxicated person who later injures a third party?Is that the responsibility of the server?

(2) Should there be limits on the monetary damages the injured person can recover from the server (like in the Connecticut Statute in the book)?

(3) Should the serve be held criminally liable if the third party is severely injured or killed?
