Furniture Outlet sells both new furniture and consignment furniture items. Current-production household items that complement or are useful with the items are also sold. For example, the store sells dining room tables and new tablecloths. The consigned items (also keep track of the condition of the item) are purchased (date, qty, price) from both individuals (record taxID) and wholesalers (record discount percent), and the new items are purchased (date, qty, price) from distributors (record Contact person). The stores customers include individuals, (owners of bed-and-breakfast operations, and local interior designers) who work with both individuals and small businesses. If the customer doesnt actually buy anything from the outlet, the outlet does not keep customer data. The consigned items are unique, although some multiple items, such as dining room chairs, are available as a set (sets are never broken). A consigned item could be brought back to the outlet by a different customer. The new items are not unique, and a new item may be reordered if it is out of stock (include reorder point). Household items are also available in various sizes and colors (for example, a particular style of tablecloth may be available in several sizes and in a variety of colors).
