Drawing on our readings related to levers of control/risk/budgeting, re-design Nordstrom's control system to mitigate the negative consequences of the current system while still motivating the desired retail performance. Make each recommendation explicit - don't say "implement a performance measurement system" but say "measure # of Happy Meals sold per hour". Also, be sure to identify what aspect of the firm operation lends itself to formal budgets and how your group would use budgets to address the concerns/risks described in Part 1.
