Dressing the ethical problem issues faced by Nikeand solution focusing on decision-making concept. Information Nike concentrated on product design and product marketing but did not actually produce the shoes. Instead, they relied on a network of outsourced contractors in China, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Bangladesh. By working with these contractors, Victory did not have to directly manage a manufacturing operation. In addition, these contractors helped Victory to keep costs down, since low-cost Asian labour was plentiful. The money saved through outsourcing would be poured into marketing.

In 2017, a worker died in Vietnam while making shoes. As she was trimming synthetic soles in a Nike contracting factory, a co-worker's machine broke, spraying metal parts across the factory floor and into her heart. This 20-year-old worker died instantly. Although it may have been the most dramatic, this worker's death was hardly the first misfortune in VNike's manufacturing contractors. In the 2000s and 2010s, the company had been plagued by a series of labour incidents: child labours in Indonesian plants, coerced overtime in China, dangerous working conditions in Vietnam. Stories of reported labour abuse at Victory Plants had been carried in publications such as New York Times and Business Week.
