Summary:
The Accounting and Finance Coordinator role is responsible for providing financial support across an assigned roster of high volume clients. Candidate must have a solid foundation of knowledge and experience in the Accounting and Finance realm, with an emphasis on client billing and vendor invoice management. Candidate must exhibit a proven ability to analyze reporting to proactively identify variances and ensure accuracy. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process a high volume of client invoices
- Match and process a high volume of vendor invoices against media insertion orders
- Coordinate with Media Planning teams to track client invoices against budgets
- Prepare, analyze, and provide commentary on weekly Job Actuals reports
- Meet monthly with Media Planning teams to facilitate communication in budget v actual tracking
- Resolve budget and/or actual variances
- Provide excellent service by accurately completing assigned responsibilities in a timely, consistent manner with reliable follow-up
- Be prepared to answer questions for assigned areas.
- Handle unique situations using judgment and discretion while leveraging management as necessary
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships
- Ensure processes are running efficiently and effectively; alert managers when issues arise
- Responsible for scanning and filing
- Utilize spreadsheets regularly for reporting to management
Qualifications:
- 1 to 2 years of Accounting or Client Finance experience
- Bachelors Degree required, (degree in Accounting or Finance preferred)
- Candidate must exhibit an understanding of budget, contracting, forecasting, invoicing processes
