Duress - is whereby one party uses illegal threat to the other party to influence him to contract.

UNDUE INFLUENCE can be defined as unacceptable pressure short of duress.

In respect to duress, you are required to critically discuss at least ONE case as per the following issues:

1.Duress with a threats of violence,

2.Duress with a threats of unlawful restraint

3.Duress with threats to property

4.Economic duress

You are required to in relations to items 1-4 above;

A summary of the case, inclusive of the various courts the matter was deliberated, the decisions of those courts, for example the High Court, Court of Appeal and or the Privy Council.
