During our discussion of courts, we discussed due process. What is protected under due process is always changing with the advent of new technology. Cell phones and the internet still remain in a state of limbo. I want you to describe to me some of the potential dangers of not having something like your emails protected by due process. I also want you to discuss what are some new advances that you could see being a point of contention for due process (e.g., social media). Finally, I want you to reflect and think on whether preserving people's rights should be top priority even if it means handcuffing law enforcement. Why or why not?
