Quinon-254 is a recently discovered toxic off gas that apparently has been produced for a very long time. It has been monitored, but no one realized the health effects until now. Historical evidence suggests Quinon-254 acts primarily in the respiratory system of mammals, often leads to cancer, and is readily inhaled in outdoor situations. Quinon-254 is generally not present indoors. Quinon-254 has very likely been present for the entire life time of the nearby residents given that the former site was a former manufacturing facility for almost 100 years. However, the effects of Quinon-254 has not been regularly documented or accounted for.
