During the past 4 months, I was able to take a step back from working my way through hard/technical skills in my journey to pursue a bachelor's degree and focus some time on my soft skills, learning to work with emotional intelligence, here are five words that describe my experience during my learning journey and why I chose them: Relevant: the skills I have been practicing are relevant to any workplace and field; there are many topics over the week that I have used in my everyday work and other topics that opened my eyes to better understanding the reason why people behave a certain way and what would be the best method to react. Enabling: I gained more confidence in my ability to work through life's challenges, especially in the workplace, I am understanding better and can control my emotional responses in many occasions. Revolutionary: Dare I say this course has helped me transform my perception to emotional intelligence from a weakness point to a strength point? It took me a few weeks to admit that what I have always been looking at as the reason that I did not excel or get the job of my dreams yet
