(a)John moves to Australia in November 2019 to consult as a specialist at a hospital in Brisbane whilst his wife and two children remain in the family home in New Zealand.
(b)Kim, who moved to Australia in August 2019, states that she has no intention of staying in Australia, however, she has opened a bank account, leased an apartment in Perth where she works as a nurse and has joined the local netball and tennis clubs.
(c)Chris is a single British citizen who sold his house in Manchester in February 2019 to move to Australia to start a three year degree at a Melbourne university. He purchased a house in Melbourne and in May 2019 his teenage son came to Australia to live with him.
(d)Alice is an Italian citizen who owns a property in Venice. She is employed by an international advertising agency and during the year worked in the Sydney office for four months after which time she returned to Italy.
(e)Peter is an Australian citizen who lived and worked in Darwin for the entire year. The only time he left the country was for a six week holiday to Europe.
