MAIN Problem 1 Problem 2 Problem 3 Problem 4 Problem 5 For the following question solve the linear programming problem and run the answer and sensitivity reports to answer all 5 parts of the questions below: 3. Spigen manufactures two products for the iPhone X, screen protectors and cases. Both the products have to be processed through two machines: Machine 1 & Machine 2. Total machine-hours available are: 400 hours of M1 and 600 hours of M2, respectively. You need to use 1 hour of Machine 1 in the production of a screen protector and 3 hours in the production of a case. You also need to use 2 hours of Machine 2 in the production process of a screen protector and I hour to produce a case. Profit from a screen protector is $5 while profit from a case is $10. Due to fast growing demand for cases, management has stated that we must produce at least 50 cases. What is the optimal mix of screen protectors & cases so as to maximize the total profit? a) What is your objective function? (5 pts) b) What are your constraints? (8 pts) c) What is your production plan (how many screen protectors and cases should you produce) based on results? (10 pts) d) Based on the answer report are there any binding constraints? If so, state which constraints are binding and interpret what it means that these constraints are binding, (5 pts)
