Each student should name two historic political leaders with whom they would like to share discussion over lunch. Then the student should explain what insights they hope to gain. Each student should respond to at least two other student's comments. I might say: I'd like to have lunch with Lester Pearson and Bobby Kennedy. They were contemporaries who forwarded social justice and patriotism with the vigour and passion more often associated with strong right wing figures. I'd like to experience the focus of their concern for others. You do not have to be so polite with your choices. More than one student in past terms has said they would like to have lunch with Hitler and the Dalai Lama.
